After time consuming and disappointing online dating, I decided I wanted a more personal approach. I thought about "It's Just Lunch", but friends gave it bad reviews - so, I passed on that. Then I decided to look-up matchmakers. I reviewed several websites and talked with a few friends that were busy, single professionals, like me. On most of the websites, the content seemed contrived and artificial, like they were not talking to me. For me, Michele and Bon Jour Matchmaking came across different. Based on what I read, I felt that Michele would take a personal approach to finding me "the one". Recently, I started another business and felt I would not be able to devote the time to meeting and dating women Michelle matched with me. Michele completely understood, being an entrepreneur herself, and she simply kept in touch from time to time (mostly asking me for profile updates and new pictures). In my experience, from the initial interview, to the review of possible matches, to her follow-up after the initial date - Michele works hard to find the best match. I highly recommend Michele's service. She will be completely honest with you on the services she provides and how she will work with you to find your match.

I've been in Michele's service for close to three years. While I haven't met the right guy yet, I know that Michele is still looking for me--that is the value of signing up with a legitimate matchmaker with an open-ended contract. It gives you time until the right person appears. The men I have met through her service are high quality individuals. Who knows, maybe the next guy I meet through her service will be my last first date. :)
Michele is also ethical and won't accept clients who she knows won't fit in with her clientele. In my mind, this makes her really trustworthy. She is direct, incredibly supportive and empathetic--she genuinely cares about her clients and the service she provides.
I know she has my best interests in mind because she vets potential clients. Her service is very hands on and she coaches her clients--so you have to be able to communicate honestly with good rapport. She has been doing this for 30 years. This is her calling. Only a person confident in their service and with a strong track record of success would offer an open-ended contract (all the other local services in town contract for a certain period of time and charge, in my humble opinion, confiscatory amounts). Her website has a ton of great information and the goal isn't to provide you with a million matches. The goal is to zero in on what her clients are looking for and for them to find a strong connection with one of the first few people they meet. We are so fortunate to have such a fantastic legitimate matchmaker in town. If you are reading her website and going through reviews and think this could be a good fit for you--give her a call!

It has truly been a pleasure to get to know and work with Michele Fields, Bon Jour Matchmaking. She is honest and upfront and also warm and personable, a combination that is perfect for what she does. Her commitment to keep looking for the right person for each client as long as the client wants her to (for just one initial fee!) is unique in my experience. Although I have not yet found that “special someone,” I know Michele will do everything she can to help me. I highly recommend Michele’s matchmaking service.
