I will begin by stating that the owners, Jim, Pam and Matt are fair and good people. I have great respect for all three.
Davis Underground Solutions is poorly managed and woefully unorganized. This is due in no small part to the operations manager Steven Dondero. he was promoted from drill forman to the position of operations manager, a position that he consistently demonstrates a staggering ineptitude. He is clearly out of his depth. Every work day under is management is an act of futility. he is consistently unprepared.
He seldom visits project sites and projects that should take hours usually take days, projects that should take days take weeks to complete.
Steven Dondero has consistently demonstrated that he is a poor judge of personnel and has neither the tools or ability to plan and anticipate potential hazards or problems related to potential or ongoing projects.
All in all of Davis Underground Solutions survives and prospers it will be in spite of Steven Dondero, not because of him.
