Using state-of-the-art dental technology, Dr. Paul Shahwan and our dental associates, along with our highly-trained support staff, work diligently to make sure that each and every visit to our office is a pleasant one. We provide the most advanced procedures available to ensure that you achieve healthy teeth and a beautiful smile. Dr. Paul Shahwan is the founder of Crescent Dental. He was born and raised in Arlington, Texas. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Arlington, he attended Baylor Colege of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. In 2011, he and his wife moved down to New Braunfels bringing with them their three kids - a German Shepherd named Heidi, English Bulldog named Monkey and Great Dane named Wolf. In August 2013, they welcomed their first human child to add to the growing family and, again, added to the pack in 2016. Dr. Shahwan is always looking for ways to get involved in the community and has made a habit of helping Boys Scouts earn their merit badges in Dentistry! During his downtime, Dr. Shahwan is always looking for a new project. Remodeling projects, building furniture, creating websites...there is always something to occupy his time. It's probably because he watches the DIY Network too much.
