I recently moved into a 1970 mobile home in west Boise. I had never been able to run the water in my kitchen sink long enough to get hot water because the sink would fill due to clogged drains. I also had a non functional, OLD, garbage disposal. I found some boise plumbing coupons through a local church book. I used the coupon they have (119.00 for 200.00 of work, though they charge 59 for the service call, which is normal, but in reality, you end up with a coupon that is actually 180 for 200....but they were up front about that, and what the heck, I saved 20 bucks!)... Best plumbers in Boise! Ed and his coworker (oh no, I forgot his name already!, sorry!) arrived on time and tried to clear out 45 years worth of grease with a snake, but it was really like trying to clear out a straw that is packed with Vaseline using a toothpick... anyways, they offered to hydrowash for $460.00 (with no guarantee of success due to the horrible nature of the outflow line), or replace the line with a new one for $600.00. Doesn't take an accountant to figure that one out... so, they scheduled to come back in a week to replace the line, which happened to be a holiday (labor day). Im not sure how many boise plumbing companies are willing to do this. I was worried about extra cost but I was assured that there would be none, and there wasn't. They replaced the line, and even put in my garbage disposal which I had bought and sort of sprung on them when they arrived...

Had them out to run a new dryer duct, and repair an existing heating run, they also provided a boot for under cabinet heating, created a duct/dampner for a new code requirement for make up air due to our kitchen range hood vent. I called Drain Pro Heating and AC for help with our HVAC needs in the house which I just outlined above. The Boise hewing and air rep came out and went through all the items with me and came up with a plan for how to accomplish them and a cost. We accepted the bid and the work was scheduled within a couple weeks. Tony came to do the work and he was very thorough and did a great job. Overall it was a bit longer than a full day's work so he came back the next day to finish up. The new code requirement for make up air is not something that anyone in the residential side has much experience with but Tony read the information on the motor and installed the dampner, motor and duct which ran approximately 16 feet to the edge of the house. Keeping everything good with Boise city code. He installed a wall hood for this. The dryer duct is now installed firmly, insulated well and easy to keep clean. It is superior to the one that was there when we purchased the house. The heating duct is beautiful if a heating duct can be beautiful and the boot for the undercabinet register should work beautifully. The cabinet builder said it would be fine. The Boise home inspector approved of the items so we are pleased to be moving along to other aspects.
