I am a graduate student from AVI Career Training, and it was a wonderful experience. The school and facility are beautiful, clean, and organized. The instructors and staff are top quality professionals. The director, Ms. Naheed, is compassionate and kind to her students and staff. The AVI Career Training staff treats students with respect and fairness. And they strive to help students in every way possible from admissions, financial aid and financing options, and licensing and career placement. I had visited other schools in the area and there is strictly no comparison. AVI has helped me with flexibility with my work schedule and my long commute. I completed both the Basic Esthetics and Master Esthetics programs. Because of this Ms. Natasha has helped me with making up classroom assignments, homework, quizzes, and tests. During my evening classes, Ms. Naheed had encouraged me and my fellow students when we felt stressed and overwhelmed. Natasha encouraged us from the first day at new student orientation. The Director understand students and she has been a lifelong support to me after graduating. Ms. Naheed has helped me land my dream job. Other schools that I had visited were not willing to help me with applying for financial aid and completing the FAFSA; they also were not helpful in understanding my long commutes and at times my family and job situation. The one school that I had visited, DSI Academy, charges $75 late fees after the 5th of the month. They make their students pay by the first of the month. They do not have any weekend or evening classes. At AVI Career Training, the evening class has helped me spend time with my children. My classmates have become my best friends and we have helped each other during class and have remain in contact with each other after graduation. Everyone treats each other like family! They make the textbooks easy to understand and explain. Also, we use the best quality skin care products and machines. I did a lot of research on beauty schools in the VA, DC, and MD area, and got services from their students. They had told me to check out the school and the only one that I found where students were satisfied was AVI Career Training. I was immediately impressed when I walked in the door. At my current spa, one of my clients asked where I received my training. She is planning to visit AVI with her daughter. They loved my expertise, education, and knowledge. And above all they enjoyed my skill and professionalism. I refer my friends to AVI. Many of my friends have similar experiences like my own, especially with children and work schedules. I tell them that out of all the schools in the area I visited, that none of them helps students better than AVI Career Training.
