After a year of research with Harvard Medical School's Department of Otolaryngology, at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Zachary Weber went on to receive his Dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Upon graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2006, he received Senior student awards from the American Academy of Oral Medicine, as well as Tufts University awards for student excellence in Oral Surgery and Oral Pathology. At this time, he was also inducted as a new member to the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Dr. Zachary Weber then went on to complete a rigorous 6 year Dual-degree Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency training program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, a busy Level 1 trauma center in Philadelphia, PA. During his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency, he had the opportunity to operate with and learn from a variety of excellent mentors, and performed a high volume of Orthognathic, Facial Trauma, and Facial Pathology related cases. During that time he also received his Medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
During his residency training, Dr. Zachary Weber was actively involved in Scientific and Clinical research, and at the 93rd Annual American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) Meeting in 2011, he was given the AAOMS Outstanding Poster Presentation Award for his work investigating the genetics of bone tumors.
Before finishing at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Dr. Zachary Weber additionally completed a year of General Surgery, and also spent time training with a renowned Pediatric Craniofacial Surgeon at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Delaware.
Currently, Dr. Zachary Weber is on staff at Columbia University Medical Center's Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of New York Medical College's Faculty, and is an Attending Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, as well as Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, NY.
Dr. Zachary Weber practices full scope oral & maxillofacial surgery with a special interest in dental implants. He is very happy to have returned to his hometown and to have the opportunity to serve the community in which he was raised.
