Dr. Rakesh Gupta received his schooling in Bangalore, India. He attended medical school at J. N. Medical College in Belgaum, India, graduating with Honors and receiving several gold medals. He was ranked first in the University for the final year of his training. Dr. Gupta did two years of research at Cornell University Medical College in New York from 1980-82.
