Beso Makeup - UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I was traveling to New Orleans for a family member’s 6pm wedding and booked a 3pm appointment with Beso Makeup three months in advance. A week before the wedding, I texted Beso Makeup to confirm the appointment and was told that they could not see me at my scheduled appointment time but could come 2hrs later, the time that I had to be ready for pictures. She indicated that she could not come at the scheduled time because the bridal party she was working with before me added two extra people and there was nothing that she could do. WARNING! BEWARE of doing business with Beso Makeup! They do not honor their commitments, notify clients of schedule changes or takes responsibility for their lack of customer service. They have so many great MUA in NOLA so I suggest you stay far away from this one.

Unfortunately, my friends and I had the worst experience with BESO makeup artist MICHELLE MARTINEZ and her pitbull of an assistant. My single appointment was booked almost a month in advance. That appointment was for 7pm on a friday night for a mardi gras ball. A couple of days later, I called to see if 4 friends could be fitted in. After some manuevering im thinking,I was told they would have appointments. I called Beso 2 days before my appointments to confirm. My friends and I showed up at 7pm on time. We were asked who had the 7pm apointment, I stated that it was me, stated my name,and we were offered a drink. We were told by the assistant that it would be a "few" minutes because she was finishing up a previous client. One of my friends and I decided to go get a bite to eat while we waited. I asked the assistant if we had time to do that, he said sure! Ill call you when shes ready for you. it should be another "few" minutes. Well the few minutes turned to an hour. Within that hour, other clients walked in an immediately sat in the chair. We were told nothing. The assistant played loud hip hop music with explicits such as "n*gger", p*ssy, b**ch and numerous other offensive curse words while Michelle continued with her makeup. We were planning to leave for the ball by the latest 1030. It was 4 of us. It was now 825.
