Creating and exhibiting art photography in addition to creating media presentations and photography for commercial clients. We seldom consider objects and scenes that are close at hand. Repetition, expectation and distraction make it difficult to pay fresh attention to any one thing. However, we're unique because our minds catalog what we see without reflection, and then in memory we consider the meaning of those things. By pausing to consider the meaning of scenes, I hope to create intimate prints. That created thing-the print- speaks of something beyond itself and the digital negative (the score) is transformed into the print (the orchestrated performance.) *with credits to Ansel Adams! It's also true that whenever a specific mind joins with an object to make that object something more than it would be without that specific mind, something like the beauty of art occurs. 1st Place, B&W category, Annual Photography Exhibit, 2012, Honeywell Center-1st place, People's Choice Award ACRES Nature Photography Exhibit 2008 and 2009.
