I LOVED my HDII experience. I do some light computing for personal projects but wanted to get into Grid Computing / Open Infrastructure Network Computing with nearby UC Berkley’s BOINC program. I believe in many of the projects their program offers and wanted to support any way I could. As I learned about BOINC and read about the project requirements online, I knew my current PC would not have enough performance. I reached out to HDII and to my surprise, they knew what BOINC was! They asked me some questions about the projects I wanted to support, what my other computer needs were, and what my budget range was. The very next day they put together a bunch of options for me from just below the low end of my budget to just over with a killer performance computer and everything in between that met or exceeded the requirements for all the projects I liked. After learning about some of the technical detail that HDII was kind enough to patiently walk me through, I decided to go above my original budget and get a new custom workstation that would last a long time and really contribute to the Grid. I was also pleased that HDII accepted credit cards which made paying a breeze. They showed me exactly how much money I saved with my new HDII Blaze PC compared to Dell, HP, and Apple; I saved over $3,000 on my new high performance computer!!! This thing is instantaneous HDII all the way. You guys rock!

I am a professional photographer that has been in the business for a solid decade. I shoot in very high resolution digital format and my projects are a few hundred photos each. To say the least, I work with a lot of data. I have been using my $3,900 upgraded 2010 Apple Mac Pro PC for the past 4 years with applications including Aperture, Photoshop, Fireworks, iWork, and a few others. I am not very technical, but I know what other professional photographers and users of the same programs recommend for PCs. Working with HDII was a breeze. I simply told them what I use my PC for, which programs I use for my business, my camera model number, and what I didn’t like about my current computer; within one day they had put together a proposal with four high performance custom workstation computer configuration options for me. They walked me through each option, pointing out the differences and what that meant to me in terms of performance and longevity, made their recommendation of their top pick for me, asked if I wanted to make any changes, and began building my new computer the same day. Everyone at HDII was very easy to work with and understand when they explained technical features to me. My new high performance custom workstation Muse is WAY faster than my Apple Mac Pro ever was and cost me $1,000 less including shipping! I couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend HDII to my family, friends, and anyone interested in an amazing custom computer at an excellent price!
