My wife and I met and interviewed several contractors and "remodeling experts" before selecting Universal Home Renovations. We checked references and let no stone un turned What a wise decision. When we met with Richard Froais he walked us through the complete process of home remodeling. During the course of our remodel his excellent staff was efficient, respectful, professional, worked hard and we're meticulous about the finished product. Needless to say the end result took us from a caterpillar to a butterfly with our remodel. We now have a "beautiful home" that reflects us and our lifestyle. The best 75k we were scares to spend. Thank you Richard, Cory, Mark, and the whole Universal Home Renovations crew!

If you need a new kitchen & bathroom, they're the ones to call. Universal Home Renovations is one of the most professional companies I've ever worked with. After reviewing several home improvement company's we decided on them. Everything the owner said he would do, he did exactly. He told me the exact timeline and did everything in that order, with no delays. They did a perfect job. I couldn't be happier than I was with their work. We highly recommend them !

Richard Froias is a criminal known to the police in both MA and RI (and FL). If you're lucky, he'll take your money and run. If you're less lucky, he'll do the demolition, leave your house in a shambles, then run. Look up the WPRI investigative report from 2012 and the WBZ 'ITeam' report from 2014 on him. He owes $130,000 in fines and restitution. He was court ordered to pay my family $1,000 restitution for taking our money and doing NO work at all on our house. We haven't seen a dollar. $1,000 is a lot of money for our family, but I guess we're lucky. He scammed one family out of $30,000, which it seems unlikely they'll get back. I have no idea where these glowing reviews come from, but I imagine they too are fraudulent. A simple google search will reveal his criminal record.
