Nick totally yelled at my wife and told her this is not how we do things in the south! She was just asking for documentation, an invoice, or something that shows what you plan to do with our money. You wouldn't provide anything but "your word." This is the reason you don't pay a contractor in advance. They lack customer service, communication skills, and craftsmanship quality. Although I was dumb enough to allow them to have my money in advance, I accepted my fate and POLITELY asked them to take the remaining money and please not to contact me anymore. (I have the text to prove it, never swore or raised my voice) This is their customer service reply "You are just as unreasonable as your wife. Don't contact me again you're nothing but a deadbeat looking to get something for nothing." Great customer service! They have bad karma all about and god help you if they are working on your project when the walls come crumbling down on this poor operation. Run, don't walk away.
