The spa cover was going to replace the conventional cover for my Jacuzzi, last longer, not off-gas, not get too heavy from water absorption... I ordered it in September of 2017. It cost almost $1,000. I drove 3 hours to pick it up and was then told it wasn't ready. He offered to deliver it and was 7 weeks late. It didn't fit at all! left huge gaps, nullifying it's superior energy efficiency claims. He sent me some little tech fabric tubes as a remedy, that were entirely unworkable. He refused to refund me, refused to remedy the situation through my Better Business Bureau complaint process. I filed in Small Claims Court and hired a Private Investigation company to serve papers. The building was empty at his business address. They did a DMV search and found the following: He owes more than $200,000 on 8 outstanding judgments and this business (he's had many) went through dissolution in 2013. And there is so much more and so much worse. I have a snowball's chance in Tucson of getting anything back from CoverPlay, but maybe I can help keep someone else from being taken. If it was available, I'd have given the company 0 stars.
