Our partnerships with over 10 larger national solar companies have given our team experience in every facet of the industry, from initial permit acquisition to final installation and interconnection. This experience culminated at the end of 2015 with the achievement of company-wide NABCEP Accreditation as a solar installer; we are one of 6 companies in the USA to have reached this level of certification. In 2016, we installed 7Mw of solar throughout the Northeast. Mission, History, and Purpose Apex is a New York born and based company in operation for over 9 years. Greg Demarse and Marvin Dobert founded Apex as a 5 person solar thermal and solar electric company, and have since grown to employ over 130 individuals dedicated to the spread of renewable energy in the Northeast. Our focus and dedication is to the communities in which we live and work- in June of 2015 we donated and installed a 4KW solar system for a local Habitat for Humanity project; throughout the year we contributed over $20,000 in sponsorship and support funding for various groups and non-profits throughout the state. Much of our growth can be attributed to our proficiency in solar installation and jurisdictional permitting. We currently employ 50 fully trained and safety-certified solar installation professionals full time. It is through these partnerships that our installation team has reached efficiencies enabling us to install approximately 25 systems each week, many of which are completed in one day.
