At ICON Pediatrics we provide high quality pediatric care in a comfortable and convenient manner. We assist parents in caring for their children with the intention of developing young people who successfully strive and thrive in today's complex world. We use evidence-based approaches to ensure the maximal physical, mental, emotional and social health of our patients. We do this by incorporating a unique approach to pediatric care that is not controlled by insurance companies or government directed agencies. Instead, patients become members of our practice, paying a monthly or discounted annual fee that is inclusive of primary care services including well child visits, sick visits, immunizations, office procedures, patient education services, development screening, sports physicals and much, much more. This care is provided by one doctor to a small number of patients with no "on call provider" or nurse triage service between the patient and their doctor. Each doctor is available to his or her patients alone all the time. In addition to face-to-face visits, care can be provided by telephone, email, text, Skype, Face Time and other emerging technologies, thus allowing parents the comfort and security of direct access to their pediatrician at all times, even when they are out of town. In addition, parents enjoy the convenience of rarely having to take their children out of school or missing work themselves due to the flexible scheduling hours associated with a concierge medical practice. Payment is handled electronically on a monthly or annual basis. These health care expenses can be applied to your deductible and health savings accounts or flexible spending accounts can be used. Insurance can be billed for parents as a courtesy and such payments can also be credited toward the membership fee if desired.
