Turns out, I needed permission from the building owner, before I could change the locks. David was understanding, and agreed to come at a later point of time when I had all the formalities sorted out. He didn’t even charge me for the visit. We recently moved and wanted to re-key our new place. Edwardo was very responsive on the phone; Mike came as scheduled; and everything went very smoothly. Mike was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, and explained everything he was doing (including improving on the original installations). I found myself locked out of my apartment and just needed to get back in since my keys and spare were BOTH inside. While waiting for Jay I'd run into a neighbor who'd told me his sob story about how this had just happened to him and he had to pay something like $120, but even though my door had some crazy security bar on it, Kobbi managed to get it open and for only $50! Dave from Lock Safe Services is an honest man in a mostly dishonest business. I asked him to help my mom out with the deadbolt on her door. He went out to West Newton, MA without issue. I initially was expecting him to install a Medco lock with a new deadbolt but when he arrived he decided that all that was needed was some adjustments and he only charged us for service. He could have tricked my mom but he was honest and reliable. He actually arrived early. EARLY?!? How great is that? Dave, you are the man!!! Thank You.
