We are an affordable auto restoration/custom fabrication shop in Detroit Lakes, MN, and we pack on nearly 30 years of experience in the business. We may be a bit of a drive, but we are worth it. In comparison to average restoration shops, we will save you thousands of dollars and get it done for you in less time. We show expertise in welding, aluminum welding, plastic welding, light sand blasting, painting, gel coat and fiberglass repair, panel replacement, rust repair, some mechanical and electrical work, etc. We happily work on any year, make or model of cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, campers, trailers, tractors, fish houses, anything you can imagine. Did you know you're average muscle car restoration with out the cost of parts starts at $50,000 and only goes up from there?! Here at Shop42 our average cost for restoration without parts runs about $15,000 - $30,000. We work hard to please our customers. Our hours are 4pm to 4am 7 days a week, or by appointment. And yes the posted hours are correct. Need your vehicle done fast? We average 2-4 months for auto restoration. (Time depending on parts availability etc) Not sure how to get your car here?
