Prior to opening Stevens Insurance Group, LLC, I was a Personal Lines Underwriter at Citizens Property Insurance Corporation for seven years. After leaving Citizens, I moved to Clearwater, FL to pursue an opportunity on the agency side of the insurance industry. While working to obtain my General Lines Agent License, I was the Account Executive at an agency in downtown Clearwater. A few months after anxiously passing the state exam and receiving my agent license, I decided it was time to move back "home" to Jacksonville, reunite with my family, and open my own independent insurance agency. With the knowledge I have from being an underwriter on the insurance carrier side combined with my agency experience, I have an advantage that most agencies unfortunately, do not have. With that being said, I am completely confident that our agency will provide you with the utmost level of quality, knowledge, and customer service. I am a professional with strong moral values. Having been in the insurance industry for over nine years, I have developed excellent interpersonal, administrative, and customer service skills. While working in the field of insurance, I have experience in multiple areas. Those areas include business accounting, personal lines underwriting, and currently, owning an independent insurance agency. The obstacles that I have faced in my personal and professional life, have impelled me to develop my strengths. They are: the persistence to obtain wished results, accepting challenges, the ability to develop a good rapport with all I come in contact with, problem solving skills, effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, leadership skills, understanding how to identify and work to satisfy customers needs, and the adaptability to time pressures and priority changes.
