The Polish National Home Corporation was formed in 1941 by four Polish organizations, the Polish Knights Society, the St. Joseph Society, the King John Sobieski Society, and the St. Kazmierz Society. The first Polish Club opened shortly thereafter at the Old Day Nursery on Union street in Middletown.
