Expensive, had to buy helmet and mud boots also. The summer horse camp was purchased as a gift & should have been fun. Horse riding time was 30 minutes on Tues, Wed & Thurs, total 1.5 hours in the 37.5 hour camp. Eight year old daughter did not want to tell a story in front of other children. Those children that did participate were asked if it was fair for my daughter to participate in fun things if she did not get up and tell her story. This further embarrassed and shamed my daughter. The other children judged my daughter and prevented her from participating in fun Friday event of painting horse. This was a very bad experience for my adopted daughter, more meaningful since the camp was her “gotcha day present” and she left the camp feeling unwanted and ostracized. I would not recommend this camp.
