Refinishing heirloom, antique and traditional furniture. Village residents hire me to restore family furniture that has been in storage and has absorbed contaminates and moisture. The best treatment is to remove the old finish and sand to the bare wood. Building up the woods surface by using oil, sealer and several coats of a quality top coat will enhance and protect the wood surface. By punching up < stripping and refinishing price guide > on the internet, you can obtain prices for restoring your furniture. My prices are less than these price quotes and I need to keep the furniture for about two weeks to complete restoration.
