Adams, then later Mr. Joe Reese. John Dark, the current owner, began his insurance career in 1969 with Continental Insurance Company in Birmingham, AL. He worked as both an underwriter and field representative for three years before returning home to Alexander City and buying into the agency that is now Dark Insurance. Although John is still active in the agency, his two sons, John and Will Dark assure the continued perpetuation of Dark Insurance Agency for years to come.
