E-Waste Assassin was named and officially formed in 2014 to carry on the work already started by the parent company, Xcentech Computers, LLC. E-Waste Assassin assists small business and residential clients that need to dispose of working and non-working electronic waste. For small businesses in sectors such as Law and Medicine where the privacy of client information is most heavily regulated, we provide an official seal stating that we have destroyed any devices containing such data. Further we offer to transfer ownership of these items to E-Waste Assassin so that the business is no longer responsible for the items. At this point, all items are assessed for possible refurbishment and sale OR they are deemed to be scrap and are separated for their various components such as glass, plastic, circuit boards, wiring, and metal. While some sales of refurbished goods take place here in Tucson, Arizona, the majority are listed and sold on E-Bay.
