C.N.As spend more time with the patients throughout the day helping with any request the patient may have in dressing, bathing, grooming, toiling, hygiene, walking and eating. They act as the “eyes and ears” of the team by observing and reporting changes in the residents condition. C.N.As has a strong knowledge of emergency procedures and be able to stay calm in stressful situations. C.N.As support the resident care plans which allows a patient to get well quickly and reach their optimum level of performance.
