Playing the piano has become therapeutic, in that if I feel sad, or stressed, I can play and everything disappears. Because the piano means so much to me and because I have had so many years of experience, I wanted to share my knowledge with others, so they may learn to view the piano as I do. I teach in the way I was taught, with patience and understanding, with the firmness that is necessary in younger children, and with a reward system made up of stickers and other treats. I am a passionate teacher, looking for eager students who are ready to learn, and ready to put forth the necessary effort. Playing the piano is a very rewarding experience, if one is willing to practice, practice, practice.
