This is the oldest and most interesting business at the sponge docks, tarpon springs Florida. They have the attitude of artists and have been there for 80yrs. They have done everything from sponge diving to high fashion design, metaphysics and most important to them is fine art. the lady there is a really talented painter who has been painting there since she was born. She is really eccentric and quirky as are most of the people there but it makes it a great place to visit and I like to hang out in the Cuba cigar place outside or eat in Plaka Greek restaurant next door. If it's fancy food you want Hellas is right next door as well. It is so cool that Get a Guru is surrounded by restaurants as it makes it a really good place to spend an evening. We have shopped there for years and really love their amazing hand made soap. They make it from scratch, I don't know of anywhere that actually does that anymore. there have been ghost hunters in the shop twice when we have been in there. They locked themselves in for the night. The place is definitely haunted. There have been sightings for years but it does not seem to bother the owners. They think it's the ghosts of relatives and all incidents have been friendly. I follow their blog and Facebook page because you never know what is going to happen next in that place. My wife thinks I am nuts about the place but she is a little scared when she goes in after dark to buy her soap. Last time we went, experts were studying a vortex.
