FloodSax is the best alternative to heavy messy sand for fighting water damage from any source. The FloodSax revolutionary sandless sand bag. FloodSax is the latest in biodegradable flood control solutions. Each one weighing less than 1 pound dry can absorb up to 45lbs (of water 5.5 gallons) in 3-5 minutes. FloodSax empowers anyone, regardless of physical size and strength to protect their property and assets from the damaging effects of water from virtually any source including thunderstorms, hurricanes, tropical storms, snow melts, rising tides or river banks, burst pipes or mains, leaking appliances etc... Once the FloodSax are activated and absorb the water, the water then becomes trapped and suspended within the biodegradable polymer that doesn't leak or spill. They then form a completely water proof barrier providing the ultimate protection from water damage.
