During World War II Primo DiCarlo was stationed in Italy and when he returned to Steubenville Ohio in 1945 he described a dish that was popular. It was a delicacy consisting of crisp bread covered with sauce and cheese and it had been sold in many of the Italian cafes. This is the same dish we offer at DiCarlo's Original Pizza.
