Great hospitality is so appreciated. Ms. Jean Johnson and her daughter Brittany of J & W Smoke House in Mound Bayou, Mississippi serves some of the greatest tasting barbeque ribs in the south. Their BBQ ribs are one of the many treasures to be enjoyed in the “Jewel of the Delta”. This was one of the many highlights of our weekend getaway to this historical town. The Johnson’s knowledge of this historical African-American landmark was refreshing, enlightening, delightful, inspiring, and as good as any tour guide.
