I had a very bad experience with Jennifer Wakeley at this salon. I have no experience with the other stylists but Jennifer gave me orange hair instead of blonde. The color correction made it even worse. If you are going to her for highlights and especially for blonde hair I would rethink that choice. If she does ruin your hair I would refuse to pay her until it is fixed to your satisfaction. I paid her after the first visit in good faith that she could fix my hair but that did not happen and now I am left with a horrible head of hair and out the money I spent.
Even worse was that she blamed it on my thyroid condition. I have a regular stylist I have been going to for ten years and I am sick that I went to Jennifer because I won a free hair cut from the Facebook giveaway they had. Live and learn.
Had I had this kind of warning I NEVER would have let her do my color.
ALSO, do not let her do root touch up with straight color for blonde hair. I have always had full foils done for my roots and let her talk me into straight color which she said would match. It didn't match - it didn't process to blonde - it was orange. She said she "works smarter not harder:" --- well, she was taking the short cut not to put all the foils in and it didn't work. Now I am stuck with a mess of hair!

Just a heads up anyone considering the microblading procedure. Do your research and read the reviews! I also found out that she is NOT licensed within the State of Florida to perform tattooing or ANY KIND of cosmetic permanent makeup on anyone!!!!!!
I recently had my eyebrows microbladed back in the beginning of April by Jennifer at Canvas Hair Salon. I originally was satisfied with her work until after a week of healing it was time to wash them per instructions. They completely disappeared. I am not sure why that would happen and when I asked her she proceeded to tell me it was part of the healing process. If that was the case then why are they still non-existent 4 weeks later? When I tried booking my touch up appointment that was supposedly included when I paid her, she wrote back that it nearly wasn't enough healing time. I reminded her that she had originally told me touch up would be scheduled somewhere between 4 and 6 weeks and being that I live almost 2 hrs away, I would like to go ahead and make a date to put on my calender. No response. I messaged her again and she wrote back that she was busy working and that she will message me back when she is free. I feel if you are free enough to share pictures on Facebook and post things etc, then you are free enough to write back or keep in touch with your clients. Researching further I found that she is not licensed to tattoo in Florida and reported her. Hopefully it can save anyone in the future of getting scammed by her.
