In November 2011, I was challenged to take $100 and spend it to further Gods Kingdom. I made a micro loan to Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo,Mexico home to 120 children. Sat down with the older children and a pile of recycled paper and our first paper beads were created. After a donor dropped off a box of potato, one of the girls took the gathered up the empty potato chip bags and turned them into a purse. In addition to helping pay for food and clothing, the older children are learning basic business skills - design, quality control and soon inventory management and accounting.
