Black Stone Global LLC was formed by a team of dedicated professionals seeking to pursue diverse top tier professional opportunities. New York State Senator Gregory R. Ball, who decided to not seek re-election in 2014, is proud to announce the launch of Black Stone Global LLC (“Black Stone”), an owner-manager of technology, political consulting, marketing, real estate and oil and natural gas companies and projects. Senator Ball will serve as Chief Executive Officer of Black Stone. Joining the Senator in this venture as co-founders are the Senator’s Communications Director Joe Bachmeier (Chief Marketing Officer) and Director of Operations Colin Schmitt (President). Rounding out the leadership team is international entrepreneur Charles V. Miles of Chicago who will serve as Chief Financial Officer. Assembling an impressive team and global operations, Black Stone has already developed core operations and executed deals across four continents. Recent investments include three existing technology companies. After nearly a decade of public service, including serving as Chairman of the Senate Veterans, Homeland Security, and Military Affairs Committee, and numerous years prior as an international businessman and military officer, Senator Ball has established himself as a global leader.
