Helping others is a passion of mine and I realized my massage therapist was someone who helped me and changed my life tremendously. When the opportunity came, I decided to go to school at Carteret Community College in Morehead City and obtain my diploma in Massage Therapy. It has given me a whole new outlook on life. I believe massage is more than just the "birthday" or "anniversary" treat you give to yourself or someone. Massage is something that should be viewed as preventative maintenance to create total wellness. Did you know that massage is beneficial for those who have constant pain, stress, depression, problems with sleep, fibromyalgia, tension headahes, low back pain, and is great for athletes in training? As I said before, massage should not be only viewed as a treat, but as a way to alleviate the issues our bodies tend to go through in life without the possiblity of medicaiton.
