Lifestyle: Capturing more than just images My approach to photography goes beyond the basic portrait. While I love a close, detailed portrait, my passion is story-telling through photographs. This is what makes lifestyle photography the perfect approach to capture the essence of your family or event. Being a literal student of people, I anticipate and look for moments that show the pure heart of my subject. It is the tear welling up in the eye of a father as he prepares to give his daughter to her groom on her wedding day. It is the sly smile of a toddler as they prepare to do something daring. It is the pure, joy-filled laugh of a newly engaged couple. It is the flood of emotions as you meet your baby for the first time. These moments happen in the blink of an eye. They are a moment in time that you will treasure forever. These precious family memories should only be entrusted to a lifestyle photographer who understands the honor and privilege of photographing your memories. Amy Vanwyk Photography. Heart. Soul. Family.
