Our car key broke off in the ignition this morning. I saw that Neighborhood Locksmith Store had gotten great reviews online & gave them a call. The assistant took my info & said that Paul would call right back which he did 2 minutes later. He said he'd be at my location in approx 25 to 30 mins. He was there in 25 mins (which was great because the temp was starting to drop & all I had on was a light coat). I'd like to write this review, not for services rendered; but, rather for excellent customer service, which we all know is a rarity these days. I spoke with Paul extensively about replacing a lock, and even exchanged picture messages (upon his suggestion) so that he could better assess my situation. He not only educated me on the different types of locks/security devices; but, also offered to walk me through the purchase and replacement, which he suggested I do myself. Wait, what? A business owner who encourages a DIY project, so that I can keep some money in my pocket? Courtesy, professionalism and expertise all wrapped in one. Yeah, he has this field on lock. Just had Arthur help out tonight with my apartment in Pittsburgh, PA. Called up and a nice girl answered the phone, was told an ETA. Arthur showed up really professional and nice. Edwardo was fantastic. He was courteous, skilled and professional. He confirmed our appointment ahead of time, arrived on time, did the job quickly and well. We especially liked that he emailed us a receipt immediately. Edwardo also gave us valuable advice on fixing our old broken doorknob (which wasn't included in the job).
