Meet George Gallego, a man on a mission to help the thousands of disabled people who are stuck in nursing homes unable to go home due to in accessibility. A freak accident at the age of 23 ended George's carefree lifestyle of playing ball, skiing, swimming and camping. The former circulation manager of a major newspaper fell the equivalent of three stories after stumbling through a railing at a Manhattan warehouse. He severed his spinal cord and was paralyzed from the waist down.
