Morningdale Log Homes, LLC., owned by Kathy and Art Hoffman, is the authorized representative for Timberhaven Log Homes, LLC. in the Pennsylvania counties of Crawford, Mercer and Venango, and the Ohio counties of Ashtabula and Mahoning. We have lived in several states over the past four decades - Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maine and Maryland. Thirty years ago, when we lived outside of Lewisburg, PA, home to Timberhaven's headquarters, we frequented a model log home there and said, "Someday we are going to own a log home like that." In 2006, we purchased 50-acres of land outside of Meadville, PA., and shortly thereafter purchased our log home kit. We started construction in August 2007 and moved-in in March 2008. Finally, after over 30 years of dreaming and two previous custom stick-built homes, our wish to own a log home had come true! The cozy, relaxing feeling of our log home makes us wish we had bought one sooner in our lives, but we are glad to have it now as we enjoy our "Golden Years" in a rustic, durable, energy-efficient log home. In fact, we even have a log barn for our AKC Collies and Haflinger horse to enjoy! Today we spend our time walking the trails in our woods, puttsing around in the yard, relaxing in front of the fireplace, and helping others make their log home dream come true!
