I probably wasn’t thinking clearly, but when I shut the car door behind me, I knew at that very moment that I was doomed. The keys were locked inside and I was out in the dark desolate highway. I was on the verge of having a mini-meltdown, but quickly pulled myself together and called my trusted locksmith - Master Lock & Key Store. This was a first, and I wasn’t even sure if they offered emergency service, but thankfully, they did. Within minutes, Gary had arrived, unlocked the car and got the keys back. I wasn’t sure what lock I needed, a friend suggested going the old-fashioned way and using a padlock, whereas a neighbor recommended getting a deadbolt installed. There were also a few other suggestions thrown my way. The multitude of options only ended up confusing me. Thanks to Master Lock & Key Store for clearing my dilemma up. John carried out a full assessment, asked me a couple of questions, and suggested that I go in for a keyless lock. I had a history of losing keys, and he figured this would work best. I couldn’t agree with him more! He fitted a brand new lock in no time, showed me a demo and doled out tips on getting the best out of it. there's obviously nothing cool about locking yourself out (or ""in"" in my case) of your apartment, but after hearing so many people sing Dave praises, i was secretly excited to have to call on him to help me out. i was attempting to leave my apartment on saturday morning only to discover that my doorknob wouldn't turn and i was locked inside of my apartment. neat. Dave was there quickly and knew exactly what the problem was. he swapped out an old part, told me a couple funny stories and then was on his way. everyone in nyc should have his number saved in their phone since it's only a matter of time before any one of us will need him and it's so nice to have a reliable go-to for something like this.
