I found out about Maid Right through Thumbtack. Initially, they were great on the phone, looked like they had positive reviews and I was excited to have them come help clean my apartment before a party I was supposed to have. I spoke with Renee, Eddy, Cara and I believe 1-2 others. I confirmed times with them both on the phone, on Thumbtack and via text. We agreed on 11-11:30am arrival, 2hrs of cleaning at $90/hr. 11;30am passed and I tried to reach out to Renee, who I initially booked with (see screenshots below). She told me the crew was running 30min late and that wasn't the end of the world. Multiple hours passed, I called their main line, Renee, tried texting, everything. No cleaning crew ever arrived. At around 2:30pm, the manager, Eddy, told me Renee never booked the cleaning crew and apparently she was just lying. No clue as to why she did that or what they would gain from it. Long story short, MAID RIGHT IS EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE. They are NOT RESPONSIVE, essentially take NO ACCOUNTABILITY and I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. RECOMMENDATION DO NOT USE MAID RIGHT! There are plenty of other, reliable services out there.
