We are a local Hudson County insurance agency dedicated to bringing back the personal touch in insurance protection. Michael Blumenfeld is the principal of the Mile Square Insurance Agency. He has a deep knowledge of property casualty insurance acquired from his 25+ years of underwriting and executive roles with industry leaders including The Travelers, Chubb, Munich Reinsurance, and Zurich Financial Services. Mike has helped thousands of individuals, small businesses, and global corporations to manage their risks in the most efficient manner possible. He has built an extensive network within the insurance community. Most recently, Mike put out his own shingle and founded the Mile Square Insurance Agency, a Washington Street fixture since 2013. Mike graduated from Rutgers College in 1987 and completed his MBA at Temple University in 2003. His professional certifications include the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and an Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) professional designations.
