I was on the lookout for a genuine locksmith who could help me setup locks in my new property. The construction was nearing completion and I needed the perfect strategy to ensure complete security. Based on everything I’d read about Capitol Locksmith Service, I decided to give them a call. I had nothing to lose. After all, they claimed to provide free security consultations and if I didn’t like their work, I could back out. Turns out, there was no reason to not like their work. Came on time, and came fully equipped with everything needed for the job. They viewed the entire plan of the property and then formed a comprehensive strategy. I was really impressed and gave them the nod without further ado. Plus, I got a really good bargain on the new locks. Thanks guys for doing an excellent job! Will I hire them again? Yes! i needed a deadbolt installed on my door and Jay was very helpful in choosing the right one for me without pressuring me towards the more expensive options. I made an appointment to have it installed that day but a couple hours after the agreed upon time I called to find out what had happened. Dave was extremely apologetic and got to the bottom of the problem right away. Turns out the guy that was supposed to install it had to go to the hospital! Can't be mad at a guy that literally couldn't make it to my apt. Nevertheless Jay told to pick anytime and he would personally install it, plus 50% off to make up for the missed appointment. HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, GREAT PRICES and FAAAAAAST!!!! Can not say enough nice things about Dave and his company. Called today to have a keyed doorknob installed on my bedroom door and an hour later Scott was at my Stuy Town apartment and 15 minutes later my new lock was installed. So professional and courteous, Scott really made me feel comfortable when he showed up and he was FAST! I called 5 other locksmiths who all wanted upwards of $170 to install the lock and Dave did it for $79!!!!
