We got locked out of our house the night before thanksgiving and were waiting outside in the cold freezing rain. The guys from Expert Locksmith Shop were at our house within 25 minutes and got us in quickly without damaging our lock. Super nice and friendly! I will use them again if i need them.

I needed my locks replaced (turns out my neighbor had the same very same locks--imagine that!) but I have a crazy busy schedule and Techi was willing to come over late in the evening to accommodate my needs. He gave me all the possible options but didn't push for higher priced items and even said that some of the higher options weren't better options. Their prices are very reasonable, and John goes out of his way to make sure everything is just right. He is highly skilled and personable, a great combination! These Locksmith Company are awesome. I grabbed the wrong set of keys on my way out the house on a Sunday and didn't realize it until I closed my door (locked from the inside). I was able to open my security door by sticking in hand through the mail slot, but the 2nd door was still locked. I called a few smiths who couldn't get out to me until later in the day. I then called Expert Locksmith Shop who could reach me in less than 30 minutes and were priced competitively. Henrry got me in my house in less than 10 minutes (after checking proper ID and the such) and even repaired my damaged mail slot. The customer service was great from the initial call to payment. I'll definitely call them first next time.

I wanted a lock problem fixed, and a friend's recommendation couldn't come by until a week in the future. Expert Locksmith Shop was able to send John on the very same day - which was fortunate because I made the original problem a lot worse by fiddling with things. John did great work and was very pleasant and courteous. And I thought the final price was definitely reasonable. I’d just evicted a tenant and needed the lock changed. When I called them up on 503-716-1489 and asked them to help me install a new lock I’d purchased from the nearby hardware shop, little did I expect them to get there so fast. I think the technician arrived in about ten minutes! Wow, that was super quick! Anyway, once I showed him the lock I needed installed, Eric from Expert Locksmith Shop told me that it wasn’t a great one and the existing one would do a better job at securing my property. I couldn’t believe it! I’d just paid $100 for it, and Eric dismissed it as something completely useless. That’s when he explained how a DIY rekeyable lock wasn’t great for security. If you could do it, anyone could do it – that’s what he said! He had a point! I planned on returning the lock. Eric suggested that I rekey the existing the lock, which I did! Thanks to Eric and his entire team at Expert Locksmith Shop for helping me out! You guys surely are the best in Portland, OR!! Would I recommend them? YES!
