Here people are, trying to rebuild in the aftermath of the worst fire Malibu has seen in decades, and Master Demolition comes along and adds a new kind of hell to an already trying situation. They appear to have zero regard for the concerns of those who have lost their homes.
For over a year now, Master Demolition has had a trailer parked on a property on Filaree Heights in Malibu Park. They are not working there, but instead have a mobile advertisement parked there, in the form of a large blue trailer. During the day, it is simply an eye sore, but at night it flashes Las Vegas style lights into all of the surrounding properties. It is on solar power, so it has not run out of battery in all this time, even though it seems to have been forgotten by the company.
Friends who lost their home have called the company multiple times, pleading for it to be removed, or for the lights to be shut off, but they have repeatedly been told that there is nothing that can be done about it, as the company was sold in the past year and the new owners know nothing about the offending trailer. Surely they are joking. During the day, this area is a chaotic construction zone, with everyone trying to rebuild homes that were lost. But nighttime is quiet - the stars come out, you can hear the waves, and you remember that it will again be a beautiful place to live. Nighttime would almost be the peaceful paradise it once was, if not for Master Demolition and the bright orange lights flashing endlessly like the perpetual arrival of fire trucks is just around the corner. This is not a feeling anyone around here wants, I can assure you of that.
Master Demolition - for the love of God, take responsibility, and get your trailer out of there.
