I have been a customer of Presidential Drain and Plumbing for 2 and a half years. Dave was responsive, courteous, and very helpful for most of that time, especially when I had a main line leak, until... On July 18, 2024 I had him come out to bid on installing a utility sink on my back patio. I would provide the sink and faucet. As he is nearing the end of his career, he brought his apprentice, B, with him to bid the job. He gave me a reasonable verbal bid, which I agreed to. This job is not an emergency, so in deference to our existing relationship I let him put me off until after September 2nd, which was Labor Day, as he was taking quite a bit of time off work for a summer of concerts and travel. During that time we texted some about which on demand water heater would be best for this purpose. I figured September 3rd was back-to-work in earnest. But I was wrong. It took several short interval calls and texts to get Dave to respond to me at all. When he called me on that Thursday he said he deliberately waited until he had dropped off his apprentice. Maybe thinking he'd get grief for being unresponsive and didn't want B to hear that? I asked him for 2-3 choices of on demand water heater. I like to buy excess capacity when I can afford it. He volunteered to get that information to me the following Monday. Unfortunately, a full week after Dave had volunteered to provide that information I still did not have it. Again, it took several short interval calls and texts for him to contact me. In that conversation I took him to task for his stringing me along. Dave didn't like being held responsible for his behavior and bowed out of the job, and 'fired' me as a customer. Now, every plumber, or other tradesman for that matter, can decline to take on any customer or job, but... Don't waste your time with Presidential, because they will waste Your time.

Oh My God, I would not expect such service if i paid out of pocket more or less from my First American Warranty insurance compamy. I really think the plumber upheld the plumbing company's name "presidential" since that was the 5 Star setvice i got. He went above and beyond to fix the problem. First American needs more contractors like this company to improve their image. Thank you so much for fixing the problem, you guys are the rhe best!!!!
