Take the journey to injury recovery and trauma resolution. Welcome to the body mind practice of T.J. Ford, SEP, LMT. Are you dealing with an injury, accident, or trauma? Do you have chronic aches, pains, or illnesses that just won’t go away? Do you want to live your life with more freedom, ease, and enjoyment? I offer a therapy called Somatic Experiencing™ – a body mind approach to healing from past difficult events in your life. Through a combination of talk and touch therapy, SE can help you renegotiate those past events and how you respond to them. You won’t have to talk about or relive the traumatic event, so it’s a gentle and highly effective way to honor your survival energies while allowing them to be gradually discharged. This helps relieve symptoms, decrease stress, and allows you to live a more balanced and joyful life. In addition to the touch therapy that is part of the Somatic Experiencing work, I also offer rehabilitative massage. If you’re recovering from an injury of any kind, or are dealing with chronic conditions, we can work specifically on those issues. I use a combination of trigger point and deep tissue therapy, craniosacral therapy, and Zero Balancing™ to help decrease discomfort and restore balance to your body.
