Where to begin?
First off, this "business" is one guy. Please be aware that he does not hold a contractor's license.
Next up, here is how our experience went:
Hired for interior renovation. Original estimate, 1 month. 3.5 months later, project still incomplete, he gets kicked offsite for incompetence, random periods of no-shows, and awful work which needs to be redone by professionals.
Please be aware that he will never decline a task, nor honestly reply to a question about his skills.
NB: He is incapable of cutting a straight line. Also, you will waste piles of money on unnecessary materials (drywall, parallam, etc), b/c of this incapacity.
Bonus: Watch your belongings while he's in the house. Specifically watch for missing tools. (He owns almost none of his own).
