My training from a COAMFTE approved program helps me to obtain a professional opinion to help you have a better understanding of the problem and teach you skills and strategies to stand up to the problem in the future. I have experience working with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, shame, infidelity, insecurity, sexual struggles, and divorce. My clients report feeling a regained sense of control over their lives and hope for the future. First sessions include some paperwork, opportunity for you to ask questions about my experience, qualifications, methods of therapy, or anything else regarding our work together. I then ask about your family background to get to know you and your situation and then ask about your experiences that brought you to my office. I value transparency and work hard to make sure you feel comfortable communicating with me about your experiences in therapy. I offer free 20 minute consultations to help you make the best decision for your well-being. If you decide not to work with me I will help you find a therapist that works for you.
