Cal Rose represents professional service providers, emerging companies, executives, entrepreneurs and their businesses. Cal’s practice focuses on the legal needs of privately-held companies, including company formation matters, taxation, contracts, corporate governance and private financing, with a focus on venture capital, private equity, private placement of securities and commercial lending matters. Cal obtained his Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University and has extensive knowledge and experience with mergers, acquisitions and other tax-free reorganizations, complex real estate transactions, executive compensation and other advanced taxation issues encountered by startups, emerging business and large companies alike. Prior to attending New York University, Cal graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law and served as the Articles Editor on the Arkansas Law Review. Cal graduated with a degree in Business & Economics from Hendrix College, where he was a member of Hendrix’s NCAA basketball team and is the school’s career 3-point record holder. Cal is originally from Blytheville, Arkansas.
