Chris Mahlmann is an Orange County, California based marketing consultant with executive level experience creating and managing online and offline marketing campaigns for businesses spanning a variety of industries. As Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of My DealTV, a Comcast television channel and digital advertising platform, Chris led marketing and development from startup to sale. Before that, as Director of Marketing for Kumbuya.com, Mahlmann led a well-funded internet startup through product development, testing and early stage marketing that resulted in growth faster than Pinterest and eventually a landmark deal with Warner Brothers Studios. Prior to Kumbuya, as Director of Business Development at Dime Promotions, Chris developed, sold, planned and implemented strategic consulting services in all aspects of restaurant/nightlife operations, event production, product launches, brand loyalty, public relations, social media marketing, and interactive media campaigns for Chicago’s high-end restaurants, bars, nightclubs and hotels. Early on, Mahlmann launched the premier dining, nightlife and entertainment publication into social media stardom as the Director of Marketing, Events and Brand Strategy for SCENE Magazine. In 2011, the Chicago Tribune Blog named Chris Mahlmann ‘One of 11 People to Watch in Chicago in 2011’ and noted him as one of Chicago’s marketing and social media leaders. Chris also donates his time to Big Love Little Hearts, a non profit that funds lifesaving heart surgeries for children in developing countries.
