It was the third time the key broke off in the lock, which was a clear indication that the keys were poorly made. Unwilling to go back to the hardware store again, I called East Chicago Locksmith Store. I could easily tell from the craftsmanship on the keys they made, that they were of a high quality. Top notch work as always! Though I was in no hurry, East Chicago Locksmith Store sent a technician to my location within 20 minutes to get a new smart lock installed at my front door. David had a lot of options and he took the time to clearly explain the features and the pros and cons of each lock model. Once I’d made my pick, the installation process didn’t take long and he followed it up with a quick demo. Completely satisfied! The lock works flawlessly and it was offered at a discount from the market rate.

I don’t usually write reviews, but there’s a first time for everything. Carried away by all the sweet talk from the guy at the local locksmith shop, I was coerced into buying a brand new smart lock. All my neighbors had it and I just didn’t wanna be the ‘outdated’ guy! Within two weeks, the lock stopped working and there I was, left locked outside my own home. I decided to call the shop that had sold me the useless lock in the first place, but they were closed for the day.
An online search for a 24-hour locksmith in East Chicago, IN led me to http://www.EastChicagoLocksmithStore.com and to this day, I’m glad I found these guys. Within ten minutes, Dave was over at my place scrutinizing the lock. When he found that I’d paid $200, he told me that the lock wasn’t even worth $20. I must admit, I felt stupid at that point for investing my money in the wrong place. But Dave set things right, switched locks with a better one that didn’t even cost me half as much as the previous one.
Wish I’d found you guys sooner. East Chicago Locksmith Store is awesome!!
